Copper Cathode Scrap

Description

Copper Cathode Scrap is a type of copper scrap generated as a by-product from the manufacturing of copper cathodes. Copper cathodes are flat sheets of pure copper used in various industries, including electrical and electronics, construction, transportation, and consumer goods. These cathodes are produced by removing impurities from copper ore through a process called electrolysis. During this process, scrap copper is also generated as a by-product, which is called copper cathode scrap.

Copper Cathode Scrap can be classified into two types based on its purity. The first type is known as grade A copper cathode scrap, which has a purity of around 99.99%. Grade A copper scrap is considered the most valuable type of copper scrap due to its high purity and is mostly used in the manufacturing of new copper products. The other type is known as grade B cathode scrap, which has a purity ranging from 98% to 99.9%. Grade B copper cathode scrap is less valuable than grade A scrap and is mostly used in melting and casting processes to produce copper alloys.

Copper cathode is a form of copper that has a purity of 99.95%. In order to remove impurities from copper ore, it undergoes two processes, smelting and electroplating. The resulting, nearly pure copper is an excellent conductor and is often used in electrical wiring.

We are selling high grade electrolytic copper cathode with good price.
